Hi I'm Therese Markham form TinyTalk in Warrington and on behalf of BabyandPregnancy.co.uk today I'm going to give you the benefits of being a baby-signing teacher.

Well personally the major benefit for myself is that it's the most rewarding job I've ever had. I'm teaching babies and parent a means of communication that's enriching their family life and reducing their frustration. How much more wonderful could your working life be. I meet lovely mums and lovely babies every day.

Another major benefit of this is that you can take your baby to work with you, what other job allows you to do that, there are not many I can ensure you. You get to spend a lot more quality time with your child and you don't have to pay for childcare cost either.

The benefit of having your own child in your classroom with you is that they are a walking advert for you. They are baby signing at home with you and hopefully they will baby sign in the classroom with you so parents can see how wonderful baby signing is.

Being a baby signing teacher means that you are self employed so you can decide when you want to work, so you have a job that fits around your family life.

As a baby-signing teacher you have a great support network across the country. You are never alone and there are lots of other teachers out there in the same boat as you. There are plenty of brains to pick and a lot of experience to learn from.

The administration of being a baby-signing teacher and the planning work is kept to a minimum so again you can work everything around your family life. In my opinion it is a great job to have as a mum who wants to work and do something that they are really passionate about that's baby-signing.
